Help required to diagnose problem with ST60 Close Hauled Wind Instrument.
Symptoms. Wind direction working properly. Wind speed showing zero. I've replaced PCB in masthead unit and these are my voltage readings to earth. Yellow (wind) 8V, spec is 0 to 5V. Other wires to spec. Disconnecting yellow from instrument head gives a very low masthead unit output voltage, circa 0.1V variable in 10Kn wind. The open circuit yellow on instrument is just over 8V.
I have swapped the master instrument head with the slave instrument and had identical results prior to replacing the masthead PCB. Is it possible that the original masthead unit blew both instrument heads prior to its replacement?

Raymarine St60 Wind Troubleshooting
- This handbook describes how to install and use the Raymarine ST60+ Club House Wind instrument, which is intended for use ashore (e.g. In clubhouses or homes) to show local wind conditions.
- Now, new this year the wind speed only show 0.0. Wind direction is fine. I searched this forum, and performed the following troubleshooting at the terminal strip beneath the mast compression post: Red to shield should read 8 volts DC steady. This is the masthead power supply, coming from the ST50/ST60 display head.
The later ST60 and ST60+ instruments have a wind speed calibration and so this over reading can be corrected out. The ST50 and ST50+ displays did not have a wind speed correction and so they will over read the wind speed by 30%. Witcher 3 weight limit.
